I am already working as SAP SD Functional consultant should I get train on other cross functional modules?

All SAP consultants will agree SAP is ocean; you can never master all the modules in SAP. SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) is the core module in SAP, and is the strong backbone of SAP ERP along with SAP Materials Management (MM) module. In SD you have lot of methods or mechanism which is used in all other modules. These are few of those methods or mechanism.

• Pricing methodology, same condition records, scales.
• Output mechanism through which you can issued print, fax or email outputs.
• IMG Configuration methodology etc.,
• Enhancement concepts like user exits, function exits and BADI etc.,

The reason why we have listed these here is similar kind of mechanism is followed in most of other SAP modules like MM, FICO etc so it would be easy sail for SD consultants to learn other SAP modules compared to others.
